What's new?

On June 25th, 2024, the Marin County Board of Supervisors adopted fees for the STR license application. For more information read the adopted resolution

On May 7th, 2024, the Board of Supervisors approved updated STR rules. These rules apply to residential properties rented for 30 days or less in unincorporated Marin. 

What's next?

We must finalize the STR license application process before the County can accept a STR License application. The application process will be available online when it is complete. Subscribe to the STR listserv to receive an update on this process.
