What are we amending?
The Planning Division is proposing amendments to the Development Code (Title 22) to:
- Align with new State laws;
- Put our Countywide Plan updates into action;
- Implement the 2023 Housing Element Housing Programs; and
- Fix conflicting parts of the Code.
What’s next?
The Board is scheduled to consider the adoption of the Development Code amendment at its regular hearing on June 4, 2024.
