BAHFA Bond Local Plan

Stay updated as we create Marin's local expenditure plan.

Work Plan and Opportunities to Engage

We need to develop a local work plan of how we will use the funds across Marin County if the BAHFA bond is approved by voters in the November 2024 election. Local input will guide this plan. Feedback will be collected in multiple ways in the coming months with the goal of adopting a plan by Fall 2024.

Spring 2024

  • Presentation to City Councils
  • Workshops with Marin County Council of Mayors and Councilmembers (MCCMC)

Summer 2024

  • Release of a Housing Priorities Survey
  • Listening sessions with community-based organizations
  • Listening sessions with Board of Supervisor districts
  • Community focus groups (community-based organizations, developers, contractors)

Fall 2024

  • City Manager Association workshop
  • Draft Expenditure Plan to Board of Supervisors

Steering Committee

The Countywide Steering Committee will advise on the expenditure outreach plan. The purpose of the outreach is to inform community members and stakeholders about BAHFA and gather feedback on local funding priorities to inform the Local Expenditure Plan.
